Rules for an interrogation (FIB)
1.1 FIB employees have the right to conduct interrogations with elements of torture of the suspect to obtain important information and add this information to the case.
1.2 RP interrogations must have serious IC reasons. | Warning
Note: Serious IC reasons include arrests in accordance with IC laws.
1.3 Exclusively, employees of the FIB from the respective established department, as well as the Director and Deputy Director, have the right to be present or participate in interrogations with elements of torture of the suspect to obtain important information and add this information to the case. | 120 minutes jail
1.4 The number of employees required to conduct an interrogation is at least two and a maximum of four.
1.5 Any interrogation involving physical violence is considered illegal and may lead to IC penalties.
1.6 The number of questions posed to the suspect is a maximum of 10.
1.7 The duration of an interrogation involving coercive actions should not exceed 45 minutes. | 120 minutes jail
Note: The time starts from the moment the arrested player is handcuffed or placed in the vehicle.
1.8 During the interrogation, it is strictly forbidden to use metagaming information; questions must be based on information obtained IC-wise.
1.9 If the suspect refuses to RP, behaves inappropriately, and there are no rule violations on the part of the employees, they should be released from custody. Additionally, such a player will be punished more strictly for refusing RP.
Explicit Regulations:2.1 The number of questions to be asked must be communicated to the suspect before the interrogation begins.
2.2 Each question should begin with the phrase: "Question one..." etc.
2.3 It is prohibited to ask the same questions repeatedly by changing their wording.
2.4 In the case of unsatisfactory or obviously false answers, employees may resort to torture methods.
Note: The torture process must be fully portrayed using the commands /me /do.
Note: To reach the pain threshold, harm must be inflicted on the respondent (functionally).
2.5 It is prohibited to threaten with sexual acts.
Example: Asking to sit on a bottle. | 3-7 days ban
2.6 Kidnappings for the purpose of interrogation are prohibited from 02:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
2.7 Kidnappings for the purpose of interrogation must be fully portrayed, using handcuffs, a bag, headphones, etc.
2.8 If the suspect loses consciousness due to the interrogation, they must be immediately released from custody.
Note: This rule applies only to system-induced loss of consciousness, not to role-played.
2.9 The use of medications and drugs during the interrogation is prohibited.
Note: This is allowed before the interrogation.
Rules for the Suspect:3.1 If a player becomes a suspect during an interrogation, they are obliged to participate in the role-play (RP).
Note: If they do not play the role of the interrogated person with violent actions, this will be considered a violation of RP. | 1-3 days ban
3.2 Regardless of the number of questions asked, the suspect is obliged to answer 3 questions in /do truthfully.
Note: The answer must be repeated in voice chat.
3.3 The answers of the interrogated person must be clear and unambiguous.
3.4 After reaching the pain threshold, the suspect may not lie or conceal information from colleagues in the next question.
3.5 It is allowed to make any statements about other criminal organizations.
3.6 A member of a criminal organization being interrogated is well aware of the organization's connection to the criminal world.
3.7 Disparaging the interrogated person before or during the interrogation is prohibited.
3.8 The use of metagaming information present in Discord channels with screen sharing is strictly prohibited; providing information to the interrogated person during the interrogation is also forbidden.
3.9 If employees violate the interrogation rules, the player has the right to distance themselves from the RP without penalty.
Note: Only with the administration's consent.
Rules for Conducting Interrogations with a Polygraph Test:4.1 The use of the "polygraph" is only permitted in the "interrogation rooms" on the 3rd floor of the FIB building.
Note: A polygraph, also known as a lie detector, is a set of devices to detect lies.
4.2 The use of the "polygraph" device functions is allowed from rank 10 (inclusive).
Note: The portrayal of the device should be done in detail.
4.3 A complete portrayal of the turning on and connecting of the device is required.
4.4 The total number of questions asked may not exceed 10.
4.5 During the interrogation, the use of metagaming information is strictly prohibited - questions must be based on information obtained IC-wise.
4.6 Questions must be formulated so that the answers can only be "yes" or "no."
4.7 The use of violence is prohibited.
4.8 The interrogation with the detector should not last longer than 25 minutes.
Note: The time starts with the first question.
4.9 The suspect is obliged to give only false answers to maintain information about their involvement in criminal activities.
Exception: Discovery of lies by the polygraph.
4.10 Upon discovery of three false answers by the polygraph, the interrogation must be terminated.
Note: After the interrogation, the respondent must not be killed.
4.11 Asking identical questions while changing their wording is prohibited.
4.12 Additionally, a video recording must be kept for 48 hours (for torture interrogations and interrogations with a polygraph).
Functioning Principle of the Polygraph:
Q - The person conducting the interrogation.
A - The person answering the questions.
[Q] Asks their question in text or voice chat.
Example: Did you sell drugs in front of the hospital?
[A] Answers the question in text or voice chat.
Example: No.
[Q] Conducts a check with the polygraph by playing "/try Polygraph checks if the accused is lying."
Example 1: /try Polygraph checks if the accused is lying | Success
Example 2: /try Polygraph checks if the accused is lying | Failed
If the portrayal results in a "Success," A must tell the truth by playing "/do."
Example: /do Yes, I sold drugs in front of the hospital.
If the portrayal results in a "Failed," Q must accept this answer as true.
